The Working Group for collaboration between AGU and CRUI


The Working Group for collaboration between Russian universities - members of the Association of Global Universities and the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI) was established in January 2016 within the framework of the Agreement of Cooperation signed on May 14, 2015 in Saint-Petersburg for the period of 3 years. 

 

The aim of the Working group is to maintain and promote efficientsystematic and sustainable educational, research and cultural collaboration of the leading Italian and Russian universities.

The tasks of the Working group are:

 

increasing recognisability of participating Russian and Italian universities at national and international arenas; raising their status with academics globally;

boosting the mutual streams of students at mobility programmes of various levels, status and duration, including summer and winter schools, academic exchange programmes;

developing new joint educational and research programmes, discovering new opportunities for  collaboration in education and science;

identifying best cooperation practices between Italian and Russian universities and sharing experience;

discovering opportunities and designing programmes for advanced teacher training in partner universities;

encouraging mutual learning of the Russian and Italian languages and cultures in Italy and Russia, as well as  promoting Russian education for Italian partners and education in Italian for Russians;

 

creating virtual and real grounds for communication between Italian and Russian universities.
